Just as adaptive optics reduces the image blur induced by the atmosphere in conventional single telescope obser-vations, Fringe Tracking, or co-phas- ing, reduces the blur in interferometric observations. We present the status of the VLTI after the deployment by the Interferometer Task Force of new beam quality control tools, which enabled the UTs and ATs to be co-phased, using FINITO as a fringe sensor.
